The Role
We are looking for an experienced engineering leader to own the technical direction of Toka. You will set standards, grow the team, and ensure the platform that runs our managed VA service is reliable, scalable, and well-built.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the technical roadmap and architecture decisions.
- Hire, mentor, and grow a distributed engineering team.
- Set and enforce coding standards, review processes, and deployment practices.
- Work closely with product to translate requirements into deliverables.
- Own reliability, uptime, and incident response.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in software engineering, with two or more in a leadership role.
- Strong background in full-stack or backend systems at production scale.
- Experience managing remote distributed teams.
- Clear communicator who can translate technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.
